On Tuesday 18th February, Evolve welcomed into its office Neil Onions, Founding Director of Beyond The Box CIC, and a team of young people to work collaboratively with our engineers on this year’s People’s Pavilion design competition. The team of aspiring designers, spent the day in a collaborative workshop developing the structural principles for a temporary pavilion design created on Monday 17th February in a similar workshop with Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.The winning pavilion design will serve as a space for workshops , talks , community events, and creative play , engaging with the Morris Mania exhibition at the William Morris Gallery this summer.Beyond the Box developed the People’s Pavilion programme in line with their ethos of providing opportunities to young emerging designers and creatives.
