Shakir Joseph
Graduate Engineer
Graduate Engineer Shakir joined Evolve in September 2023,having previously completed a work experience placement with us in 2018.
This two-week placement was pivotal in his decision to pursue a career in engineering. Shakir then went onto complete a Master of Engineering degree (MEng) with First-Class Honours in in Civil Engineering Design and Construction from Nottingham Trent University.
Shakir also completed a three-month internship in structural design with a consultant in Nottingham where he gained a lot of valuable experience, including designing foundations for a modular unit in Nottingham City Hospital.
Outside of work, Shakir’s main passion is calisthenics which involves gym workouts and skills using one’s own bodyweight. He is also a big football fan.
