Ian Craig
Managing Director
Ian was a founding director of Evolve and now heads up the team as Managing Director.
Previously Director of Structural Engineering at Oscar Faber, Ian left in order to focus on structural design. Prior to this he was with Anthony Hunts Associates, where he spent five years working in Paris before returning to the UK to join Peter Brett Associates.
Ian has been influenced in his approach to work by innovators in both engineering and business, such as Anthony Hunt, Ove Arup, James Dyson, and Steve Jobs. And Raymond Blanc.
He continues to have a passion for engineering and construction. His role is to lead Evolve in delivering its vision to become the engineering consultant of choice; embracing new, sustainable technologies while upholding the strong values of the company. This includes making a positive impact on communities and taking climate action, while enjoying working with colleagues across the industry.
When he has time, Ian likes to be in the mountains or by the sea.
